How did we get here?

 

A well nurtured childhood love of creating and making 'things' is the whole reason Moody Māori exists. 

My personal Tāniko/weaving journey has endured over the last 35 years and I finally feel confident in my ability to share my deep aroha (love) of Tāniko.

Moody Māori is a new small home based business situated in Whakatāne, Bay Of Plenty, Aotearoa (New Zealand).

Can I pre-order Tāniko items?

Unfortunately due to time constraints we are unable to take any pre-orders of our Tāniko items but we invite you to follow us on our socials.

Does Moody Māori have a walk-in store?

No. we do not operate a physical store, items only avaliable via our online store www.moodymaori.com.

 

How long will my order take to arrive?

Please refer to our Terms and Conditions further down this section for information regarding orders, mailing and returns.

 

Are all Moody Māori Tāniko items hand woven?

Yes. All our weaving is handwoven. We do not promote the use of embroidery as Tāniko.

Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made through our website, www.moodymaori.com. By placing an order, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.

Payment

All prices are listed in New Zealand dollars. Payment is required in full at the time of purchase. We accept payments via Stripe - a payment provider that accepts card, Bancontact and Eps payments. We also acccept bank deposits/transfers.

Your order will not be processed until full payment has been received and confirmed. You will receive confirmation of payment via our site.

Delivery Time

Moody Māori will do all we can to provide prompt service and delivery well within the times mentioned below.

New Zealand buyers can expect delivery within 10 working days of purchase.

Overseas buyers can expect delivery within 28 working days at least.

Delivery times may vary depending on your location and product availability. We will notify you if there are any significant delays via email.

Transport and Shipping Costs

Transport and Shipping is handled by New Zealand Post and costs are calculated and added at checkout and paid by the customer.

Within New Zealand - $8.50 Courier/Tracking avaliable.

Within New Zealand Rural - $8.50 + 5.70 Courier/Tracking avaliable.

Overseas - $50.00 - Tracking avaliable.

Refunds/Returns

Returns will be provided if buyer believes it is faulty or incorrect.

Returns must be in original condition including original packaging.

Responsibility of return is upon the buyer. 

Faulty items can be replaced, exchanged for similar or fully refunded including mailing costs with proof of purchase - your choice. 

New Zealand buyers have 10 working days to make returns.

Overseas buyers have 28 working days. 

Intellectal Property 

All creative work provided by Moody Māori Ltd remains our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

We retain the right to display creative work in social media or for promotional purposes unless customer requests confidentiality in writing.
